Rhodes City Tour & West Coast

Starting our tour from Medieval Old Town, a world heritage site by UNESCO. Walk around the always lively streets of old town, where time seems to have stopped at middle ages. The famous Order of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, the Hospitallers, has left an indelible mark on the island. Explore the shops, particularly around the central hub of Hippokratous Square or the quiet alleyways, adding to the charm of a town that is car free.

We continue with a panoramic city tour in Rhodes, including Italian buildings with deep architectural legacy, the old Post Office, and panoramic photos from one of the island’s higher point.
 
Next destinations is Filerimos, in the outskirts of Rhodes, is a hill 267 meters high overlooking the small town of Ialyssos and the bay of Ixia and Trianda. It is an ideal place to enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea as well as to take a walk in the nature with the numerous cypresses, pines and other types of trees surrounding the area. At the top of the hill rests the Monastery of Filerimos as well as ruins from the temple of Athena Polias since this is the place where the ancient city of Ialysos used to be.

We continue our tour visiting the Butterfly Valley. The valley is one of the most famous attractions of Rhodes that is certainly worth a visit. Only 25 km from the town of Rhodes, you can visit the famous Valley of the Butterflies. This is a habitat with dense flora, breathtaking natural beauty, harmonious structures of bridges with the environment, paved paths, ponds, small inexhaustible waterfalls, serene atmosphere, and a unique experience for the visitors. An excellent place for families with children who wish to enjoy the beauties of nature and examine the life cycle of butterflies as part of their summer holiday.
